Audi Q5 Hybrid coming to the U.S. in 2010

Originally debuting at the Beijing in July of 2007, Audi is stepping into the green arena and beginning production of the Q5 hybrid. Due out in the U.S. the later part of 2010, this hybrid SUV will be competing with the Lexus RX 400H and the BMW X6 ActiveHybrid.

Audi A3 ‘Black Edition’

Leave it to the European car makers to leave the U.S. in the dark again. Actually there will be no dark in the U.S.  anytime soon. Audi has announced it will be releasing a special new ‘Black Edition’ version of the A3! Available for order now with the first deliveries due in February 2009, the Black Edition A3 starts off using the S-Line as a base to work from.

Audi sitting out of the ALMS for 2009

Audi Announced that it will be pulling the plug on its American Le Mans Series (ALMS) program for 2009. Following on the heels of Honda’s announcement that it will be exiting the F1 motorsports series. Audi and Honda have both cited a slumping global economy for its recent decisions.

Audi R8 LMS (GT3-spec)

The Audi R8 LMS (GT3-spec) was unveiled this week at the 2008  The Essen Motor show. Now you can see the car itself in its natural environment - on the track.  Lucky for us Audi has uploaded this video to their Audi tv platform online.

Audi TT RS - 350 Sexy Reasons to Buy

Dubbed the TT RS,  Audi insiders have promised that the TT RS will be a “real alternative” to the Porsche Cayman  when it goes on sale in Europe in late 2008 or early 2009 for an estimated 50,000 euros.

The TT RS, snapped here with a production-ready front bumper, will use a 2.5-liter in-line five-cylinder motor, Audi’s first five-cylinder engine in ten years. Early reports indicate that Audi will boost performance to a hefty 350 horsepower using twin sequential turbochargers although there is still talk of a single as well.
