NCDubs Toys For Tots was a hit!
When good people get together to do good things, you can’t help but say it was a great day! Today in Cary, NC NCDubs sponsored a Toys For Tots drive and yes, it was a great day. It was a big turnout with lots of great people pitching in to help their neighbors.
Positioned in a busy shopping mall, many people saw the NCDubs/Toys For Tots sign and while they were doing their shopping opted to also pick up a few toys to donate for the cause. “We were driving though and saw the sign and figured while we were here, we should get soem toys and bring them over.” commented one shopper who absoultey delighted to see such an event taking place. A special thanks goes out to Eugene, of Gruppe Titan, who organized a caravan to the event.
During the middle of a recession, the effects are being felt this year by the U.S. Marine Crop collecting the toys. Not enough toys are being donated to meet the demand that has increased in recent months. These guys take it personally and want for every kid to have a toy, but its proving to be a struggle.
A HUGE thank you to all who came out and participated in such a great cause. We look forward to doing this again next year!
